I finished my Raven socks tonight while watching Night on Earth, a lovely little gem of a movie that showed up mysteriously on our netflix queue. I love it when we don't remember adding a movie. Actually, I think my husband claimed it eventually, if only for the honor of picking a winner.

While hauling out the camera to take a fo picture of my beloved handspun socks, I also took a snapped a shot of my Irish Diamond Shawl in progress. It's so hard to take pictures of bunched up lace, but now I at least have something for Ravelry, I hated seeing that blank box ;) I'm quite pleased with this shawl so far. I was a little worried that the heathery texture of the silky wool would obscure the lace, but the pattern is simple enough that it seems to be showing nicely, even before blocking.
