gcablesocks, originally uploaded by trillium knits.

I finally finished Gordon's socks yesterday. Boy socks with fine fingering weight always seem to drag a little towards the end, but I'm quite pleased with the end result.

Yarn: Melody Superwash
Pattern: Basic toe up with short row heel, cable nabbed from A Fine Fleece

I've also been working on some sport weight socks for myself with some yarn I picked up during my 4 day yarn bender while our friend Elaine was visiting us.

The yarn is Monarch from Fly Designs, purchased in person at the lovely Little Knits in West Seattle and the Pattern is Kaylee from Monkey Toes

I'm about halfway done with sock #2 now, these are a crazy fast knit. I love the little bee/firefly pattern. I think I may have to make some armwarmers with this pattern.

Next up are birthday socks for my Mom, and a sweater for me. I think I've settled on this cabled hoody from Drops Designs, sexily named 109-3. Seriously, those guys need to hire someone to name their designs ;)
