I finished Gordon's hat on the way down to my family reunion on Saturday. Well, it's finished until he decides what he wants embroidered on it, anyway.



I started my lano d'oro sweater on Friday. I wanted to have some nice mindless stretches of stockinette stitch for the trip. I got a ton done on it during the drive home (I was passenger!) I'm about 1/2 way through the back armholes. I'll take a picture when I finish the back. I really like this yarn, it's going to be a super comfy sweater, although probably a bit too warm to actually wear until fall. I'm being a little creative on this project. I'm vaguely following the basic sweater pattern from my "Handy Book of Patterns" but I've stolen the shaping from the shapely tank, and there will be a wide cable up the front and 3/4 length bell sleeves that I'm going to wing :)
